In describing why there is no such thing as an empty nester, Ted lists the "feathers" that are left behind by children who move out. It should also be noted that he is talking over the other person in the conversation....
Ted: "...old snowmobile parts...burned out tools you used to have, but borrowed to your kid...worn out screwdrivers with the end worn down so they're not usable...empty five quart oil containers filled with drained oil, or who knows what...four or five empty brake fluid containers..."
