Totaled

Ted starts off break with...

Ted: “Gordo, you need any Crown Vic parts?”

Gordon: “No, why?”

Ted: “Two cop cars crashed into each other in Roseville last night, totaled the cars….brand new.”

[a few minutes later, Gordon finds the article in the newspaper and see the picture below]

Gordon: "One of the cars flipped onto the roof!"
Ted: "No, I think one just rear ended the other."

Gordon (being serious): "It doesn't look totaled to me.....the door looks damaged."

It should be noted that Gordon is like a grumpy, militarized version of Ted that works way out of earshot.  They both own and adore Crown Victorias. As for Ted's facts on the article: there is no mention that the cars were brand new and the source makes it clear that there were no rear end collisions.
