Ted, who rarely talks about football during the regular season jumps on the Super Bowl bandwagon and initiates a conversation with Justin (a football superfan) about the big game. He wasn't interested in hearing Justin's take on the game, he just wanted to let someone know his complaints. His main point was that he watched the game on both “HD plasma and HD LCD” TVs and he couldn’t see the plays because "they" didn’t zoom in. Overall he liked the game, but he wished that “they” would have used telephoto lenses.
Here is how he ended the conversation…
Ted: "I couldn't see anything! It was like they had the cameras in the last row."
Justin: "I didn't notice, I..."
Ted: "Typical Fox....And why does every play back from a commercial have to start with a dancing robot? Who decided that's what I wanted to see? And also the shameless self-promotion."
Justin: "That's any sports on any station."
Ted (starts making cricket noises for absolutely no reason): “I thought you’d like to hear some crickets!” [walks off]
